Konami has made the move! It’s been announced that Konami has agreed with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to include the AFC Champions League into the next PES installments. This could (and should!) mean licensing for many of the Asian teams, including the Arabian ones.
I can see this being rather beneficial for Konami since licensing is a very important battle in the war between PES and FIFA. It’s also been said that PES2014 will be using elements of Kojima Productions’ very own FOX engine in Pro Evolution Soccer’s new engine. Sounds like the next PES holds some interesting surprises for us.
