FUTURE RAMBO! Was the first thing that dawned on me while looking at this new slick trailer of Crysis 3.
Taking place 20 years after Crysis 2, New York has been left quarenteed and isolated from the world. Players will be taking control of Prophet who apparently died but has been brought back to finish off the Celph (the aliens, obviously) once and for all. The game will also have a heavy emphasis on hunting which explains the use of bow and arrows. It will be powered by the Crytek Engine 3 which will apparently boost the game’s visuals to new “maximum” heights. I’m actually really happy with the setting as it combines game’s first (jungle) and second(urban) into one. Expect it to ship Q2 of 2013 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
