Wii U Unboxing like a Boss (Literally)

Nintendo seems to have finally began revving up the excite-o-meter on it’s soon to be released home console, the Wii U. The video below is a very deep and incredibly classy unboxing of the Wii U premium Japan edition by none other than the president of Nintendo himself, Satoru Iwata.

The Wii U unboxing ceremony in all its glory

How bad ass was that? Despite the scattered news we’re getting on the Wii U, one has to recognize this face-to-face approach as a positive sign of Nintendo being more transparent.

On the other side of the pond, US game journalists have already gotten their nerdy hands on the Wii U premium US edition (which includes a free game and other goodies). IGN has already released unboxing which may not look as classy but definitely gives us a close look at the Wii U game covers and the Wii U Pro controller .

So is this finally getting you excited? Do you feel this is a new console or just someone who’s late the HD party? Let’s find out in the next 10 days.
