Mp1st Has managed to grab a glimpse of what seems to be Black Ops 2’s Season Pass which promises to include the following:
Get 4 Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2 downloadable content Map Packs, delivering a variety of new content, including Multiplayer and Zombies playable content.
- Save $10, at discounted suggested retail price of £34.99*
- Content expected to be available in 2013 – following the game’s launch on 11/13/12
- Check for availability at your local Game Stop or Best Buy.
*Based on Season Pass suggested retail price of £34.99 and four DLC Map Packs at a suggested retail price of $14.99 each.
**Season Pass and DLC Map Packs may not be available on all platforms or in all territories. Pricing and release dates may vary by platform. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 game required; sold separately
The source came from the official Black Ops 2 site. Unfortunately the link doesn’t seem to work anymore and just points back to the official Blacks Ops 2 home page.
Another interesting bit of news is Call of Duty Elite being free. According to the image taken by Mp1st, the link appears to shows the text “Free Elite for Black Ops 2”.
This may not be Elite Premium, mind you, but it seems that Call of Duty is trying to expand that feature to possibly compete with EA’s Battlelog (which has always been free for BF3 players).
None of this has been confirmed yet so lets keep our expectations in check.
**Update**
