Square Enix has held a QA event at their 25th FF anniversary party. Some of the questions asked were kinda interesting such as what class do FF players mostly prefer? (it’s the knight class for those wondering). All the big heads of Final Fantasy were at the panel except Tetsuya Nomura (character designers, and director of Versus 13) who probably didn’t attend to save fans from asking the “when is versus 13 coming out?” question. Instead he provided the following picture of Noctis insuring everyone the game is still in production.
Just before the panel ended, one of the devs– Tabata–decided to drop this bomb shell.
Tetsuya Nomura wanted to give the message that he’ll soon show the future of Final Fantasy.
We can all assume they were talking about Versus 13–unless he went crazy and started directing a new FF project. Nomura mentioned that the next time we see Versus 13 it would look different and he will only show it when its ready. Let’s just hope we get to see it. Playing at this point would be asking too much.
You mean the future of Final Fantasy will never happen, right?
whats that mean?
