Video Games Live Dubai Trailer

We have finally arrived to Dubai and come across great news! After a joint conference between Video Games Live, Cyclops communications and the UAE National Symphony Orchestra Video Games Live was confirmed that it will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on the 14th of December, 2012.

Video Games Live is a music concert that incorporates synced video clips, lighting and appearances from your favorite games, all produced by world famous music composer Tommy Tallarico for a unique and epic symphony experience. The event also focuses on sharing the gaming culture to those who are new to it, such as parents and musicians. Video Games Live has been touring all over the world, and has involved performances by many orchestras worldwide. The concert in Dubai will be played by the UAE National Symphony Orchestra and will feature a mixture of classical video games soundtracks and recent famous ones.

Tickets are already available for purchase on Box Office ME, Virgin Megastore Tickets and Time Out Tickets. Pricing will range from 185 Dhs, 345 Dhs and a reasonable 595 Dhs for a fully featured VIP experienced.

The track list for the event has yet to be confirmed, but Tommy himself has promised one thing, that there will be a guitar hero contest. The highest scoring player backstage will be taken on stage to play with the orchestra, and if they score above a certain amount of points in their live performance they would also win a prize.

The Guitar Hero track will be the “Foo Fighters – The Pretender”

Cyclops Communications, a Dubai-based events organizer, made the hosting of the show in the Middle East possible. They are also planning to bring the show to other cities in the Middle East and India in the coming 5 years.

Aside from the exciting news, we also received an awesome goodie box from Video Games Live. Here are a pics of the things inside:

That last item that looks like a time machine is actually a table top speaker dock for your phone and laptop. The speakers on this one is great with blue flashing LEDs, super cool. Doom and M3o immediately took dibs on these speakers.

For more information on the event head over to the Video Games Live Middle East Facebook Page.
