The Pokemon series evolves with Pokemon X and Y!

Xerneas Yveltal

Well well, wasn’t it a few weeks back, where I predicted the next Pokemon game to be on the 3DS and would include 3D Pokemon models? I am on quite a prediction streak here!

Just as analyzed, the 3DS is capable of delivering some nice graphics for a full 3D Pokemon adventure, and as promised, I will be running to the store to get my 3DS XL before the release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y on October 2013! Other than the 3D puzzles and terrains that Black and White incorporated, the game will also use 3D character models, 3D Pokemon and 3D fight scenes and effects (kinda like Pokemon Battle Stadium).

Two legendaries were shown off, one looking like a flying bird and the other like an elk

UPDATE: Ash Satoshi provided us the names of these legendaries (Funny enough, that’s his real user name, thanks ash!). Xerneas (Elk) and Yveltal (Bird) ,confirmed here:

Xerneas and Yveltal

Lastly, three new Pokemon where named to debut for the game (probably the starting Pokemon):

Chespin

Fennekin

Froakie

Yes. Oh and it’s been confirmed by the good ol’ official website that the 2 mascots shown in the trailer are Xerneas (pronounced ZURR-nee-us) a.k.a the elk and Yveltal (pronounced ee-VELL-tall) a.k.a the flying bird. You’re welcome.
