It seems the rumors were true. Sony has introduced a new PS3 model which is now reportedly 20% smaller and 25% lighter than the current slim. The lid also appears to be sliding open that exposes the disc tray entirely.
So far there’s only been two various models announced (250 GB & 500 GB).
Aside from that a new bundle will also be made available which will include Uncharted 3 and Dust 514

A slimmer and white model has also been shown but appears to be exclusive to Japan…for now.
The new PS3 “slimmer” model will be out on October 30th. No official word yet in the Middle East.
