New C.O.D Game to be announced May 1st

black ops 2 leak

Activision, the behemoth of videogame publishers, will be announcing its new Call of Duty game on May 1st. The news comes in from the game’s official website which shows a splash and count down timer. For those of you living in America, the trailer will debut during the basketball playoffs on TNT.

The title will most likely be Black Ops 2 due to the leak screen (pic above) and the fact that it is to date the highest selling Call of Duty, with sales that go beyond 25 million.

So are you excited? Bored and sick of the series? Personally, I want to see this game evolve already. If anything,  the decline sale figures of Modern Warfare 3 should point out that gamers want to see something new and exciting. Perhaps, a new game engine? Hmmm?

There are also some rumours floating around that this will be on the Vita, which will make things A LOT more interesting.

But will the controls be as tight as they are on the console? the thing i like about call of duty games (other than the FPS rates) are the controls.

Hah free roam would be the baws! Combine that with the multiplayer style xp customisation unlock and you got something fun going on as a FPS… Would like to imagine such things happen!

    WaSaBe’s demand list:
    – HUGE + small map combos
    – Fully rebuilt graphics engine along with all the pretty modern day physics
    – Re-recorded weapon sounds
    – More realistic character face models
    – Proper tanks, planes, helis…
    – More players per server for consoles
…. etc, maybe I should write an article on this one…hmmm God I miss COD4…
