It seems Mercury Steam wants more Castlevania. Aside from it’s 3DS game–Lords of Shadow: Mirror’s of Fate–the team will also be developing a direct sequel to Lords of Shadow. The story of Gabrial Belmont will continue in his vampire form and will also introduce a mysterious white haired figure (Alucard?).
I was one of those gamers who were deeply disappointed by Lord of Shadow, it’s shallow and uninspiring gameplay left a serious bad taste in my mouth (THOSE BLOODY SPIDERS). Here’s hoping that they add more depth in the sequel.
