Hidden traits are traits that are…hidden. There is no other way to know if your sims have them except observe and test them yourselves. You can get them by having a child with NPC or a sim of the respective career
Physical traits:
Pyromaniac (Child of a Firefighter): they have a command to “set something nearby on Fire”. It won’t actually set something on fire but it can (rarely) set the Pyromaniac on fire. They also get a huge boost from the fire (that burn them to death unless they’re also immune to fire) and Cozy Fire Moodlet.
Immune to Fire (Child of a Firefighter): you know that, right? They are fire-immune sims.
Makes No Messes (Child of a Maid): never leave a mess after serving meals.
Mental traits:
Sneak (Child of a burglar or a sim in the Thief branch of the Criminal Career): can sneak around. It’s a “walking” command and only available to adults.
Arrest Burglar (Child of a Police or Law Enforcement career sims): easy but hard to test because burglar won’t appear often.
Salute (Child of a Military sim): can use salute to greet another sim. It’s a Greeting and Friendly interaction.
Pizza Appreciator (Child of a Pizza Delivery person): get a big Amazing Meal moodlet from eating pizza.
Rocker (Child of a Rockstar): there are no clear way to test this trait…yet!
